S-map Soil Texture

S-map Soil Texture is part of the S-map digital soil map for Aotearoa – New Zealand. The data comprises the dominant texture class of the upper 60 cm of the soil profile (Clayey, Loamy, Peaty, Sandy, Silty). The S-map Soil Texture layer is a "dissolved" representation of the soil texture attribute for the dominant S-map soil sibling - previously available as a lookup table. This layer was updated Aug 2021.
