Forage Seeds and Endophytes Collection

The Margot Forde Genebank (MFG) has New Zealand’s largest seed collection and the most diverse forage collection in the world. The MFG database holds over 48,000 public accessions of 2500 mostly temperate forage species from a broad range of locations and environments around the world, including more than 6,000 accessions collected in New Zealand. The MFG hosts the New Zealand Indigenous Flora Seed Bank. An account setup is required to access the publicly available data.
