Land Resource Information System

The Land Resource Information System (LRIS) Portal is an online geospatial data repository provided by Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research that holds over 200 different land resource data layers for Aotearoa – New Zealand and beyond. These include for example: the New Zealand Land Resource Inventory (NZLRI), S-map layers, the NZ Landcover Database (all versions), NZ Digital Elevation Models and Fundamental Soils Layers (FSL), and the FSL New Zealand soil classification.
