National Soils Data Repository

The National Soils Data Repository (NSDR) is soil data repository for over 8000 soil observations, including soil analytical results, across New Zealand. The NSDR includes the National Soils Database (NSD) containing point descriptions of about 1,600 New Zealand soil profiles. Combined, these resources provide the evidence base for ongoing soil research and national datasets such as S-map. Note that some data held within the NSDR have restricted access.
